In my opinion this area is safe and there are schools that I personally went to that are great for younger kids. Another great feature is the fact that I have switched between different apartments with ease and in the past 2 years have never had any problems with my neighbors or anyone else in the community.

Another great feature about the Ivystone Apartments is the fact that it is so close to everything. It's kind of funny because you can go 1 mile one way and you're at the Greenbrier Mall, and then another mile in a different direction and be in Virginia Beach. Which makes it a wonderful place to live.

If that's not enough there is even more. They have a private pool which is awesome during the summer, and if you feel like you want to, you can rent it out for the entire day for birthday parties and other special occasions.

There are also grills everywhere around the entire neighborhood for people to grill out on nice spring/summer days. Anyhow, back to the apartment complex. In my opinion, it's in a very safe area (Greenbrier), which I myself have lived in for about 12 years and have never had a single problem. It's probably one of the only areas I would like to live at in the Hampton Roads area because of how awesome the scenery is.

Of course, seeing as it's in a great area, it's located near a bunch of wonderful schools like Greenbrier Primary, Greenbrier Intermediate, Greenbrier Middle, Oscar Smith High School and Indian River High School. I have actually been to all of these schools and couldn't have asked for a better education. Thankfully, that's what you get when moving to a place like the Ivystone Apartments.

Pool – The pool at the Ivystone apartments is great. It's very well kept up and if there are ever any problems, the community maintenance will fix it up as quickly as possible. Also the pool staff is great. I have never been to a community with such a brilliant group of people.

Tennis Court – There is also a tennis court that is located near the middle of the community. However, not used so much, it is a great feature for residents looking forward to play tennis. I've personally been the tennis court multiple times and it is always well kept and there aren't many debris on the court.

Fitness Center – The fitness center is actually one of the newest features here at the Ivystone apartments and is one of my personal favorites. There is a treadmill, stair steppers, bike, and of course a weight lifting machine. Also the fitness center is air conditioned/heated and includes a bathroom. It's a wonderful addition to the Ivystone apartment complex.

Garage/Storage – The ivystone apartments also have a garage/storage area located in the middle of the community. You can pay for the garage/storage for a low monthly rate (to find out more contact the apartment office). They have sizes that range from small (a bit larger than a closet) to medium, and then to large (enough room for a car and space for more). You'll really like this feature, so if you feel as if Ivystone is the place for you just mention that Justin Lewis referred you and you'll save $250.00 on your first months rent.

Lakeside View – There are apartments in the rear of the community that actually face the lake. These apartments cost a little bit more a month but are definitely worth it. You'll love the view when waking up early in the morning, especially in the summer.

Verizon Fios Installed – Every apartment is fully installed with Verizon Fios where you will get an amazing deal when purchasing. This is one of the fastest internet services (my friend actually has verizon fios and loves it). There is no installation needed when purchasing Verizon Fios either, seeing as their is already a box in every apartment.

Washer/Dryer – There is a washer and dryer in every apartment at Ivystone! This is one of the best features seeing as there is no need for laundry rooms around the community. No more running 300 feet just to wash your clothes, when you can simply clean your clothes from the comfort of your home!

Security – The ivystone apartments are located in Greenbrier, Chesapeake. Which is one of the best cities to live in. The schools are great especially for parents looking for a good education for their young children. Also, located across the street is the fire station, so if there is ever a problem, they can arrive in seconds. This is great incase of fire emergencies or random acts of nature.

To add on the security, their are also very few crimes, if any at all that occur in the Greenbrier, Chesapeake area. So you're no doubt in good hands when moving to the Ivystone Apartments. Maintenance – If there is ever a problem, you can go to the community office and place a work order for the maintenance, they are very quick on acting when needed and are some of the nicest maintenance staff I have ever seen at an apartment complex.

When I had my first apartment, I had a huge problem with the water in my apartment having something clogged in my sink. Within minutes the maintenance came over and fixed my issue. It was amazing how quickly they acted on this problem.
